A Large Church on a Small Site

A two level 43,000 square foot project built on only 3.7 acres. It is a very sloping site located beautifully on Kendrick Lake in Lakewood. The church negotiated to use parking at a school one half block away. There are only 200 parking spaces on site.

The church seats 850 for worship with two large window walls of glass. A full size gym was originally constructed but in 2010 Lee Architects renovated this space to have a large fellowship area that seats 500 and a new Welcome Center containing a Cappucino Bar. Lee also redesigned and oversaw the renovation of the entire children's ministry.

It is really a compliment when a church you completed more than 20 years ago asks you to remodel their facility.
